mr. Edwin H.J. Slager

Edwin studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam and graduated in June 2003. Having gained several years of experience at a large legal-expenses insurance company, Edwin joined Schuit Polak Van den Hout Advocaten as attorney in 2007, and became partner in 2013. From 1 November 2017, attorney Slager entered into a partnership with attorney Van Emstede and they jointly conduct a nautical practice. Edwin has specialised in civil procedural law, including the law of seizure (attachment), as well as contract law, law of obligations and debt collection in general and contracts for professional services, contracting and purchase and sales agreements (Book 7 of the Dutch Civil Code) in particular.
